Who We Are

Hi, my name is Cameron.

I’m the name behind Cameron’s Seafood, the largest fresh seafood retailer in the state of Maryland.

If you have lived or visited the state of Maryland you know that we take seafood very seriously. There are few things that gets us Marylanders more excited than tearing into a bushel of delicious blue crabs encrusted with crab seasoning surrounded by our friends and family.

THE LIGHTBULB MOMENT

Every year, thousands of customers flock to our 9 retail stores and food trucks across Maryland, Washington DC & Pennsylvania to get their fill of Maryland blue crabs.

“One morning, a crab-lover from West Virginia rolled up to one of our family-owned food trucks in Hagerstown, MD, to buy a bushel of Maryland blue crabs. He told my cousin Pey, who was working on the food truck that day, that he was so sick of paying exorbitant prices for dodgy crabs in WV, and to him it was worth driving 6 hours, round trip, to come get the real Maryland crabs from us.”

That same night, Pey came to me with the idea to start shipping our crabs and crab products directly to people’s homes. Within weeks, we had launched a brand new website with an online store and started shipping our family’s products to blue-crab junkies and seafood-lovers across North America!

A STRONG FOUNDATION

Cameron’s Seafood was founded in 1985 by my father, Allen Manesh and my uncle Bijan Manesh. True to their Persian heritage, their mission was not only to sell seafood but also to prepare and serve it to their customers at an affordable price so that everyone could enjoy delicious seafood. The family now operates 14 locations across the Maryland-Washington-Pennsylvania market.

I live in upstate New York and my order arrived within two days as promised. The food was still frozen. The food was impressive. The quality was there. We enjoyed every bite of our seafood. It includes instructions on how to cook your meal. I would buy again!

Delicious. We ordered scallops and crabmeat. We have ordered them in the past and were really happy with the quality. Maryland crabmeat tastes unique and can't be compared to crabmeat from foreign countries. Can't wait to order the steamed crabs. Keep up the good work. You have customers for life.

This would be my 2nd time ordering from Cameron's Seafood. I lived in Maryland for 5 years and I was skeptical of ordering frozen crabs. They were well seasoned and a nice size. After heating them up I couldn't tell that they were frozen. They tasted fresh. Unless I'm in Maryland, this is the only place I will order my crabs.

We are first time buyers and we were really excited about the bushel of large male crabs we ordered. Although the crabs were tasty we were highly disappointed in the sizes. More than half of the order were small/standard size.

I had a bad half bushel of crabs. Spoke to the manager and they were able to give me his direct number and refund my crabs as first time customers. I heavily appreciate them setting up a refund to me for my mom's 79th birthday.

Crabs were superb for 3 to 4 times. My last batch were smelly and gills were too dark to be fresh. I want to order so bad but I want live fresh caught crabs.

Colossal Jumbo Male Crabs
